Cristy Clavijo-Kish

As Chief Development Officer of Hispanicize Media Group, Cristy Clavijo-Kish is responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing new business strategies, negotiation and representation of business affairs for DiMe Media’s premium influencer talent, strategic planning for brand campaigns, negotiation of new partnerships and co-produces the annual Tecla Awards nominations and presentation event that culminates Hispanicize week in Miami.

Cristy is an entrepreneur and award-winning marketing, media and communications practitioner with more than 15 years experience and specialization in Hispanic and multicultural community initiatives as well as managing pan-regional brand campaigns for the Latin American market.

She is also the Creator and co-Publisher of Los Tweens & Teens, a bilingual media platform launched in 2011 to engage and support multicultural parents and influencers raising Generation Z- tweens & teens ages 7-17.

Prior to her partnership in HMG, Cristy led PR Newswire’s Multicultural Markets division as senior vice president, a role she was appointed to following the 2008 PR Newswire acquisition of Hispanic PR Wire, LatinClips and Hispanic Digital Network- all companies that she co-founded and spearheaded. She also helped found the Hispanic marketing practice at global public relations agency Porter Novelli.

A New Jersey native of Cuban decent, Cristy is an active Girl Scout Troop leader and volunteers with other community organizations and speaks nationally at conferences. She resides in Miami Shores with her husband and identical twin daughters.
