Sandra Garcia

Sandra Garcia is the Vice President of Annuities Business Information Protection where she oversees Annuities business continuity plans, information security, vendor governance and records management ensuring each discipline is meeting Enterprise compliance and regulatory standards.  Prior to her Annuities role Sandra led the Group Insurance business vendor governance area where she was accountable for ensuring all third parties were in compliance with Prudential’s vendor agreements, governance policy and vendor governance standards.  In her prior role as a Director in Risk Management, she was accountable for managing vendor governance, business continuation and records management for Financial Management and Global Marketing Communications.  Sandra has represented various business units on Enterprise teams providing thought leadership and strategic direction for program standards and deliverables for over the last 15+ years of her career.

Sandra holds a Master of Science in Management from Thomas Edison State College and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.  She serves on the corporate advisory board for the ALPFA NJ Chapter, where she has been an active member since August 2005. ALPFA, the Association of Latino Professionals for America is a nonprofit committed to empowering and developing Latino men and woman into leaders of character for the nation in every business sector.  As a Talent Management Ambassador for Prudential, Sandra is able to leverage Prudential diversity initiatives to make a positive difference in the community.
